Cappucino cups, bending the shape of coffee
Cappucino cups are pretty common these days. But if you think cappuccino cups are the same all around the world, you might be in for a surprise. Coffee is seen differently depending on where you are.
Cappucino cups are larger than espresso cups. But although you might be used to seeing the American cups, the traditional Italian cups are much more similar to an espresso cup than the bowl-like American cups. The reason for the cups to be closed is to better keep the heat, and although this is not as important as for an espresso, a hot cappuccino is still better than a warm one.
You can find decent cappuccino cups at fairly low prices. Though it is also possible to find many very decorative designs used not only for actually drinking coffee, but also for collection purposes. There is a wide variety of extremely good cups (some are even made in stainless steel) to be found online. Just remember, in the end, all that matters is the one you like the best, when enjoying your cappuccino.
